In the 12th minute, one of MELATES F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MELATES F.C.. After some careless play in the MELATES F.C. defense, Joakim Fernkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iason Plexioudas. The MELATES F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iason Plexioudas should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, MELATES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christer Hylander came free, but Iason Plexioudas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Charlie Almstedt came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Almstedt couldn't finish the play. Kjell Nordstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Nordstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MELATES F.C. booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Nordstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avraam Skarpathiotis kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Rönnöfors FF's Frans Enegren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iason Plexioudas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 31 minutes into the game, Spyros Stavrakakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MELATES F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rönnöfors FF the free kick. In the 31st match minute, MELATES F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spyros Stavrakakis to maneuver through the defense. When Frans Enegren came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Enegren couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Frans Enegren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iason Plexioudas was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Rönnöfors FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joakim Fernkvist in the 36th minute. If Christer Hylander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iason Plexioudas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Hylander, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, MELATES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frans Enegren came free, but Iason Plexioudas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Charlie Almstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iason Plexioudas was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 45th minute Frans Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iason Plexioudas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Hylander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Iason Plexioudas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Rönnöfors FF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Christer Hylander made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Enegren in the 53rd minute of play forced MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper Iason Plexioudas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christer Hylander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dimosthenis Tzalakostas charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimosthenis Tzalakostas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Dimosthenis Tzalakostas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Iason Plexioudas managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Rönnöfors FF's Christer Hylander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. MELATES F.C.'s Iason Plexioudas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save MELATES F.C. from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Hylander got free with Iason Plexioudas in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute of the match, Christer Hylander got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iason Plexioudas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Christer Hylanders short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Iason Plexioudas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christer Hylander struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Iason Plexioudas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnöfors FF. In the 81st minute, Anders Holm made a precise shot to the right of Iason Plexioudas. MELATES F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Rönnöfors FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joakim Fernkvist in the 85th minute. The corner led Rönnöfors FF's Joakim Fernkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Iason Plexioudas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 88th minute, Panos Chasiotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iason Plexioudas made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Christer Hylander sent off a good shot on target. Iason Plexioudas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Nordstedt in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rönnöfors FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
