Botafogo AP's Percy Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Mandoiu in the 32nd minute of play. Aristide Păunescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percy Reis having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Percy Reis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. LIVIUS UNITED MLS played a much better game than Botafogo AP and deserved their victory. The Botafogo AP players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
