Real Unión CF's Emanuel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Jäckel in the 22nd minute of play. Adam Jäckel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Emanuel Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Neuer was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Real Unión CF's Emanuel Neuer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Unión CF from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Hendrik Behloch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Neuer. The goal made the score 1-3. Moritz Trehkopf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuan Jian Hai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60thth minute of the game Adam Jäckel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Unión CF's Emanuel Neuer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Neuer had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Adam Jäckel from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Real Unión CF were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Hertha 1969's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marz Pedros took the corner. The corner ended in Marz Pedros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hertha 1969's Moritz Trehkopf did a great save.
