Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Kolopetinitsa's Sokratis Kagiasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iakovos Ksiros in the 9th minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Heitor Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Iakovos Ksiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kolopetinitsa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Stergios Samartzis made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Gastão Cesário sent off a good shot on target. Gastão Cesário kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 18thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Kolopetinitsa's keeper Stergios Samartzis was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 20 minutes Kolopetinitsa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manuel Valadão who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Manuel Valadão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stergios Samartzis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Filippos Antoniou hit a great ball. If Manuel Valadão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Stergios Samartzis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gastão Cesário. Iakovos Ksiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Heitor Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kolopetinitsa's Sokratis Kagiasis got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gastão Cesários short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Stergios Samartzis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute, Gastão Cesário got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sokratis Kagiasis got free with Heitor Teixeira in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s zone, Aleksey Efimov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Teixeira came out of the goal and Aleksey Efimov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Gastão Cesário came free, but Stergios Samartzis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sokratis Kagiasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Teixeira having to interfere. Marcos Mourão's late challenge caught a Kolopetinitsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Mourão helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Mourão. In the 76th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Pegado to maneuver through the defense. Sokratis Kagiasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Heitor Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Heitor Teixeira got control of the ball when Iakovos Ksiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kolopetinitsa's zone, Gastão Cesário stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stergios Samartzis came out of the goal and Gastão Cesário tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kolopetinitsa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
