Ture Strömberg had several of the excursio fc's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Domingo Mitxaut as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gunnar Österberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ture Strömberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Mitxaut having to make a save. Göran Ekeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Mitxaut having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ture Strömberg got free with Domingo Mitxaut in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Warberg FC booed when excursio fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match, Sören Hermansson sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Domingo Mitxaut showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, excursio fc's Mario Raphael got a free kick in the 29th minute. Warberg FC's Ture Strömberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Domingo Mitxaut made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gunnar Österberg sent off a good shot on target. excursio fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Göran Ekeberg 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. The long shot by Sören Hermansson in the 40th minute really tested Domingo Mitxaut's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ture Strömbergs short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Domingo Mitxaut to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ture Strömberg to make the kick off. excursio fc's Domingo Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Ekeberg in the 56th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Gunnar Österberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Warberg FC's Ture Strömberg in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gunnar Österberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warberg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Österberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Mitxaut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Warberg FC were the better team. Warberg FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
