But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franciszek Serwach couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Ahlén. Jurand Plucinik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Vilhelm Brander made a huge save. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
