Momo Boumedienne scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Gallegos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Candido Gallegos came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Sam Mistral. But to his dismay, Sam Mistral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Candido Gallegos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Momo Boumedienne in the 33rd minute of the match. When Steve Pierrard fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's protests and gave Steve Pierrard a yellow card for diving instead. The LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Deportivo Lirayén's goal looked a bit too open when Momo Boumedienne came free, but Candido Gallegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Mistral got free with Candido Gallegos in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Momo Boumedienne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Gallegos having to make a save. In the 68th match minute, Deportivo Lirayén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Jesus Arbildo to maneuver through the defense. Candido Gallegos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilles Le Bouédec, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Philibert Boissinot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Gallegos having to interfere. Momo Boumedienne succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-13. In the 98th match minute, Deportivo Lirayén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Jesus Arbildo to maneuver through the defense. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
