The crowd rose to their feet as Gocmar FK's Onur Kutulmuş slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Jordão. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onur Kutulmuş in the 12th minute of play forced Benficajuvestars's goalkeeper Carlos Jordão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gocmar FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yıldıray Patlar in the 13th minute. A nice corner shot did that Yıldıray Patlar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Jordão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 16 minutes into the match, Onur Kutulmuş dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Jordão, 2-0. Rubim Ramires kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Benficajuvestars's zone, Yıldıray Patlar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Jordão came out of the goal and Yıldıray Patlar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benficajuvestars's Carlos Jordão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Benficajuvestars from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute Yıldıray Patlar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Onur Kutulmuş in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Jordão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yıldıray Patlar struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Carlos Jordão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gocmar FK. Onur Kutulmuş received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Jordão came out and tried to block the shot, but Onur Kutulmuş slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Benficajuvestars's goalkeeper Carlos Jordão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yıldıray Patlar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Catarino Vale made a kick off. Ahmet Davut Karay kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Carlos Jordão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Kutulmuş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Benficajuvestars defense, Onur Kutulmuş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Jordão. The Benficajuvestars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Jordão should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Benficajuvestars getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rubim Ramires hit a great ball. Yıldıray Patlar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Carlos Jordão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Yıldıray Patlar made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Jordão. Benficajuvestars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Aires in the 76th minute of play forced Gocmar FK's goalkeeper Arif Bilge Kınay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Bilge Kınay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Sequeira in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Gocmar FK's Ferid Akçakoca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Jordão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Carlos Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldıray Patlar in the 88th minute of the match. Behiç Uğurlubey scored 9-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Jordão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute Yıldıray Patlar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Gocmar FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
