Doni Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Jitaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Manfredo Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Giurcă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfredo Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FC Fanaticii's Emanuel Giurcă got control of the ball when Manfredo Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Avram Prunaru hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Raúl Arósio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 30th minute Fabiano Borel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Giurcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Giurcă came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Hernani Massa. But to his dismay, Hernani Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Ganea didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Borel in the 38th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Emanuel Giurcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Fabiano Borel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Giurcă was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Marius Ganea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Siqueira threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Fanaticii's Marius Ganea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moise Corduneanu during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Corduneanu to maneuver through the defense. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Fabiano Borel got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Marius Măgură shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernani Massa scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Giurcă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raúl Arósio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Giurcă having to make a save. Emanuel Giurcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Borel in the 75th minute of play. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Doni Meirelles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bogdan Buzea was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Fanaticii's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Marius Măgură managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Hernani Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Marius Ganea. FC Fanaticii's Emanuel Giurcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Reis in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Manfredo Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Emanuel Giurcă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
