Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Martin Palermo F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Jaroslaw Gleba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Augusto Hanot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Trapiche's zone, Sebastián Izquierdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelios Panagiotopoulos came out of the goal and Sebastián Izquierdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martín Izquierdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Hanot, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Stelios Panagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Izquierdo in the 39th minute of play. Fabian Atarratze kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Martin Palermo F.C. from getting a goal against them. Trapiche made a substitution. Rodrigo Romildo replaced Fabian Atarratze. Trapiche's Alejandro Otsoa was substituted for Felipe Garcia. The supporters of Trapiche booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Felipillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Cesar Abancens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 95 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Damian Urbez came free, but Martín Izquierdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
