The referee showed Ignacio Arnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Arnas. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Peace Home Street Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Åke Zachrisson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes, Claudinei Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peace Home Street Boys and the Nouvelle Vague players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peace Home Street Boys! Johnny Eskilsson had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Alfredo Tripodi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Gualterio Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Nordmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Svartengren succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Svartengren in the 36th minute of play forced Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Gualterio Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Abajas. 41 minutes into the match, Peace Home Street Boys's goalkeeper Johnny Eskilsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Caetano. Gualterio Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Julin in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Aaron Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Svartengren came free, but Gualterio Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Gualterio Socorro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Svartengren. Gualterio Socorro was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Lennart Nordmark capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lennart Nordmark really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Charles Julin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Lucio Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Lennart Nordmark reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gualterio Socorro. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 82nd minute, Lucio Caetano made a precise shot to the right of Johnny Eskilsson. Peace Home Street Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. After some careless play in the Nouvelle Vague defense, Aaron Svartengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Socorro. The Nouvelle Vague fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Socorro should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Nordmark in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Socorro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peace Home Street Boys walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
