The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurício Marques during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 minutes of play Leão de Judá's Maurício Marques was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Maurício Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Willian Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Leão de Judá's Andrézinho Braga got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gugu Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Charlie Hennenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andrézinho Braga fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leão de Judá's protests and gave Andrézinho Braga a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sydney Barros having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Leão de Judá's zone, Inácio Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Hennenberg came out of the goal and Inácio Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leão de Judá's Charlie Hennenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Leite in the 89th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Leite notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Leão de Judá's Charlie Hennenberg. Charlie Hennenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charlie Hennenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
