The crowd rose to their feet as Almazarrón's Bertol Erosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cătălin Dăianu. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Ferdinand Brănescu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Almazarrón's Lisandro Lastras couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC GURZUN. Cătălin Dăianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Lastras in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Jurcuț to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Juanito Rey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cătălin Dăianu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Bertol Erosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almazarrón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Donato Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Cozmâncă in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Albert Finteșteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Domenech. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Urdăreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Cătălin Dăianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Lastras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 51 minutes into the match, Lisandro Lastras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. FC GURZUN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Lastras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC GURZUN's zone, Arturo Domenech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Dăianu came out of the goal and Arturo Domenech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cătălin Dăianu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bertol Erosa went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Octav Jurcuț kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Bertol Erosa scored 6-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cătălin Dăianu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Octav Jurcuț charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octav Jurcuț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cătălin Dăianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertol Erosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Valentin Urdăreanu got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 90th match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Cozmâncă to maneuver through the defense. Cătălin Dăianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Domenech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Almazarrón had played much better football throughout.
