After 6 minutes, Sidnei Peres made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rakkestad IF's Linus Todal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th match minute, Rakkestad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Bergum to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Sidnei Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Todal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Todal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When SAS's Sidnei Peres in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rakkestad IF's goalie prevented a goal. Linus Todal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Trancoso came free, but Linus Todal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 31 minutes on the clock, Runar Nergaard commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Runar Nergaard hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Linus Todal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After the first half SAS were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otto Klepp to make the kick off. Linus Todal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agnaldo Araújo went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Rakkestad IF's zone, Oscar Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Todal came out of the goal and Oscar Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Linus Todal managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when SAS's Agnaldo Araújo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Linus Todal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes Rakkestad IF got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Bergum. With a little luck, Rakkestad IF's Linus Todal got control of the ball when Agnaldo Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, SAS's Oscar Mendonça made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Linus Todal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Hélder Trancoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Linus Todal. That made the score 0-7 in the 78 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Hélder Trancoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Linus Todal, 0-8. Sidnei Peres did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Linus Todal 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Oscar Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Todal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Agnaldo Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Linus Todal. Rakkestad IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. After 92 played minutes Rakkestad IF got a freekick which was hit by Otto Klepp. Oscar Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Linus Todal made a huge save. When the match was over SAS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rakkestad IF throughout the match.
