With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Erik Asmundsson in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tang Quan Yan saved Pinheiros Capibaras FC from getting behind. If Jhonny Rabelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jhonny Rabelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 26 minutes, Sven-Erik Asmundsson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Tang Quan Yan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Lenílson Velasco got a free kick in the 29th minute. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Mats Ljusberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tang Quan Yan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tang Quan Yan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to Svartvallstjärnens IF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Roland Järverup hit a great ball. Marko Askberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Hans Lidman replaced Marko Askberg. After 61 played minutes Pinheiros Capibaras FC got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Luncașu. Thanks to some nice moves Jan-Erik Carlsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Tang Quan Yan however easily saved by the left post. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Sven-Erik Asmundsson scored to the left of an out of position Tang Quan Yan, making the score, 0-4. Jan-Erik Carlsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tang Quan Yan having to make a save. Sven-Erik Asmundsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tang Quan Yan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 78th minute Pinheiros Capibaras FC were awarded a corner. Roman Pavlyuchenko went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 79th match minute, Pinheiros Capibaras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Velasco to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Luís Fábio Massa got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sven-Erik Asmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Erik Asmundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tang Quan Yan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pinheiros Capibaras FC booed when Svartvallstjärnens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Säf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Asmundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tang Quan Yan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Svartvallstjärnens IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pinheiros Capibaras FC throughout the match.
