Crawford Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armağan Özsahin in the 23rd minute of play. If Duncan Gummow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the game, İlyas Başarman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sexolution FC the free kick. After 29 played minutes ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü got a freekick which was hit by İlyas Başarman. In the 32nd minute Armağan Özsahin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crawford Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Muharrem Bağdaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armağan Özsahin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Crawford Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armağan Özsahin to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Sexolution FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duncan Gummow to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü defense, Murdock Andrusiow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Metehan Perkel. The ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Metehan Perkel should have stopped the shot. Muharrem Bağdaş might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Crawford Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Muharrem Bağdaş ran back to his position shaking his head. Metehan Perkel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murdock Andrusiow went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Saltuk Vacit was substituted for Gaffar Özer. Adolfo Breasley kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes, ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's İlyas Başarman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Crawford Lucas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü reached it. The supporters of Sexolution FC booed when ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nejat Kotuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Metehan Perkel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodd Moran in the 85th minute of play. Mack Houldsworth hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's goal looked a bit too open when Rodd Moran came free, but Metehan Perkel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
