Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Charles Santos sent off a good shot on target. Léo Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Charles Santos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Carlisle United's Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charles Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, Inter de São Paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes of play, Carlisle United's 张学友 楚城 made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, 洪振义 notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo. Carlisle United's attentive Sol Leyburn managed to snatch the ball when Nelsinho Marques made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Santos to make the kick off. The Carlisle United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Inter de São Paulo made a substitution. Jonathan Carvalho replaced Nelsinho Marques. Carlisle United's Thomas Winfield got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseu Melo was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and 张学友 楚城 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 张学友 楚城 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Winfield got free with Eliseu Melo in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carlisle United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
