Aurelius Bolduc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos José Vega in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Chris Leclerc got a free kick in the 27th minute. Carlos José Vega did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Aurelius Bolduc 32 minutes into the match. Aurelius Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos José Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Stefan Beller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregorio Pinto. union española s.a.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Beller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. union española s.a.'s Gregorio Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Beller in the 42nd minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos José Vega made a kick off. Carlos José Vega was slow to take the kick. During this time union española s.a.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on union española s.a.'s corner Carlos José Vega fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelius Bolduc quite easily take care of the ball. In the 86th minute of the match union española s.a. got a corner. Zelg FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos José Vega ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on union española s.a.'s corner Carlos José Vega fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelius Bolduc quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The union española s.a. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zelg FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
