Qiao Hong Jian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelius Bolduc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. When Gustavo Rosario fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Arteixo's protests and gave Gustavo Rosario a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Atletico Arteixo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gustavo Rosario hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Gioele Spillmann made a precise shot to the right of Baltazar De la Torre. Club Atletico Arteixo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. A collision led to Club Atletico Arteixo getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Club Atletico Arteixo's supporters rose to their feet, but Qiao Hong Jian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelius Bolduc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Oscar Erasmo from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Baltazar De la Torre's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Zelg FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
