Jacobo Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Leonel Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute of the match FC Dream Team got a corner. CA Quake's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogério Lessa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the CA Quake defense, Inácio Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Karmel. The CA Quake fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Karmel should have stopped the shot. Ivan Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Vidal in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, one of FC Dream Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Damaso Isidor charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Isidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomi Giusti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leonel Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, FC Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Carvalhais to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Mouricio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Vaz was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Despite this Leonel Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 48 minutes into the match, FC Dream Team's goalkeeper Leonel Vaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Mouricio.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Carvalhais was the one to do the kick off. Alexandre Carvalhais hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Leonel Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Mouricio's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Mouricio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Vaz was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on CA Quake's corner Tomi Giusti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leonel Vaz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 76th minute FC Dream Team were awarded a corner. Rogério Lessa went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 81st minute Hipolito Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When CA Quake's Jacobo Mouricio in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ivan Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Carvalhais, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, FC Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Lencastre to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
