The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Nils Wassenius in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mochila FC's Adelino Castro. When Mochila FC's Erling Halland in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Erling Halland sped through Aster Brasil Futebol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Āris Viszinis. After 12 minutes of play, Mochila FC's Erling Halland made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Āris Viszinis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Mochila FC booed when Aster Brasil Futebol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Amorim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Āris Viszinis. Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Erling Halland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Āris Viszinis was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Āris Viszinis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erling Halland to strike the kick off in the second half. Āris Viszinis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Halland, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After taking down the ball on Mochila FC's corner Sidnei Quintal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Āris Viszinis quite easily take care of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Erling Halland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Āris Viszinis, 0-7. Erling Hallands short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Āris Viszinis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Āris Viszinis got control of the ball when Sílvio Laureano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Āris Viszinis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Halland, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Aster Brasil Futebol Club defense, Sílvio Laureano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Āris Viszinis. The Aster Brasil Futebol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Āris Viszinis should have stopped the shot. Sílvio Laureano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Āris Viszinis having to interfere. Dinei Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Mochila FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
