Urbano Sagrario was slow to take the kick. During this time Franja Dorada's players had a chance to rest. If Urbano Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Eztebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Hodei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Dunixi to make the kick off. In the 92nd minute Franja Dorada were awarded a corner. Eleuterio Normando went to the cornerflag to take it. Teodoro Oihenarte tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Pedro Faron. An unnecessary self made goal, 6-0 in the 92nd minute. Franja Dorada's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
