The referee ignored Eantdit FK's protests and gave Paul Dragalina a yellow card for diving instead. During the 42nd minute of the match Candido Mincho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Candido Mincho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Iustinian Vochin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Vergaray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olimpiu Vârnav received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pepe Santoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Vârnav in the 56th minute of play. Iustinian Vochin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Pepe Santoro made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Olimpiu Vârnav's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepe Santoro was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. That made the score 1-2 after 90 minutes of play. When the match was over Eantdit FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB throughout the match.
