Fabian Frederik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Maraman Reitsma made a huge save. After having played for 7 minutes, Ted Borker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ágætis Byrjun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Borker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nemesio Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feddo Reitsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Ted Borker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nemesio Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Borker in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute Ted Borker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feddo Reitsma in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Terciero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Dorio in the 24th minute of play. Nemesio Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fokke Reitsma in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Fokke Reitsma got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Borker came free, but Nemesio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nemesio Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Borker in the 31st minute of the match. Nemesio Terciero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feddo Reitsma's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's goal looked a bit too open when Feddo Reitsma came free, but Nemesio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Qwinton made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bruno Ramirez however managed to control.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celedonio Dorio to make the kick off. Nemesio Terciero was a little too slow when Ted Borker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Nemesio Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Borker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ATLETICO MENDOZA's Nemesio Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Borker in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Severino Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Feddo Reitsma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nemesio Terciero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Ted Borker fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nemesio Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Borker in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Ted Borker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemesio Terciero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 84th minute Fabian Frederik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maraman Reitsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Frederik came free, but Maraman Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ágætis Byrjun played a much better game than ATLETICO MENDOZA and deserved their victory. The ATLETICO MENDOZA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
