Emmanouil Kalivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikolas Karkamanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reno Wilmots in the 6th minute of play. Nikolas Karkamanis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reno Wilmots's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Nikolas Karkamanis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reno Wilmots showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Atletico de Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iakovos Papafotopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Joost De Groot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aadam Aaabel in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Reno Wilmots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolas Karkamanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostas Papadatos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Reno Wilmots didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 24th minute. Haithabu FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Bruno Poets scored 4-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikolas Karkamanis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Atletico de Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Poets came free, but Nikolas Karkamanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikolas Karkamanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Poets in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute, Reno Wilmots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Atletico de Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Mauri Icardi came free, but Nikolas Karkamanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Mauri Icardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolas Karkamanis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Mauri Icardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolas Karkamanis having to interfere. Bart De Scheper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikolas Karkamanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauri Icardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Oswald Haeselaers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikolas Karkamanis came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Haithabu FC's Mauri Icardi. But to his dismay, Mauri Icardi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 77 minutes into the match, Mauri Icardi notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Atletico de Madrid's Nikolas Karkamanis. Nikolas Karkamanis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, Oswald Haeselaers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikolas Karkamanis. Atletico de Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswald Haeselaers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 84th minute, Reno Wilmots made a precise shot to the right of Nikolas Karkamanis. Atletico de Madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reno Wilmots in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolas Karkamanis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 minutes of play, Haithabu FC's Bruno Poets made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikolas Karkamanis was left in no man's land by his defense there!
