Dilan Bobet made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Rony Gomes sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pierre Halter came free, but Ademir Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rony Gomes came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dilan Bobet could save by the left post. Green Madness's Flavio Porfirio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luís Fabiano Dantas in the 25 minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Auvinet came free, but Ademir Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luís Leal hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Vila Nova FC defense, Yves Auvinet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademir Cruz. The Vila Nova FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademir Cruz should have stopped the shot. Ademir Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Delarue, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Vincent Delarue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ademir Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vila Nova FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Dantas hit a great ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ademir Cruz came out and tried to block the shot, but Jean-Pierre Halter slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. Ademir Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Delarue, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute Yves Auvinet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Jean-Pierre Halter put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ademir Cruz. In the 72nd minute, Jean-Pierre Halter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademir Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 76 minutes into the game, Yves Auvinet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Ademir Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vincent Delarue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Cruz having to interfere. If Vincent Delarue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Wanderson Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilan Bobet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Vila Nova FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Green Madness were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
