After 9 minutes GREEN LIONS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Fernando Schmidt who took care of the corner kick. Demis Laggizos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Maciej Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vaggelis Pantelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kang Fan Xiang in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Maciej Marchlewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vaggelis Pantelidis. Maciej Marchlewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Vila Zumbi booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sokratis Orfanopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maciej Marchlewicz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Vaggelis Pantelidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Zumbi. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Maciej Marchlewicz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Vaggelis Pantelidis to make any attempt to save it. Vaggelis Pantelidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the GREEN LIONS defense, Maciej Marchlewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vaggelis Pantelidis. The GREEN LIONS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vaggelis Pantelidis should have stopped the shot. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GREEN LIONS! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kang Fan Xiang in the 37th minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Vaggelis Pantelidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maciej Marchlewicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vaggelis Pantelidis came out and tried to block the shot, but Maciej Marchlewicz slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 39th minute. Gerasimos Vasilarakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Antoni Beninda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vila Zumbi getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sergio Bertin hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignatios Papachronakis to strike the kick off in the second half. Sokratis Orfanopoulos hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Maciej Marchlewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Pantelidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila Zumbi were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after GREEN LIONS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Fernando Schmidt took the corner. The corner ended in Carlos Fernando Schmidt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GREEN LIONS's Vaggelis Pantelidis did a great save. Sokratis Orfanopoulos made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vila Zumbi's Matías Souza. 73 minutes into the game, Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vaggelis Pantelidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 75th minute Ferdi Kadıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Pantelidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GREEN LIONS's goalie prevented a goal. Ferdi Kadıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Pantelidis having to interfere. Maciej Marchlewicz struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Vaggelis Pantelidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Zumbi. After 89 minutes of play, Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vaggelis Pantelidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute Vila Zumbi were awarded a corner. Carlos Fernando Schmidt went to the cornerflag to take it. GREEN LIONS's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Vila Zumbi had won, even though GREEN LIONS had held more of the ball.
