Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Alagoano in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Cerezo. Patrik Smefeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Stjärnblomster fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Stjärnblomster's Steffen Kullgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 21 played minutes Stjärnblomster got a freekick which was hit by Guto Alagoano. Fúria Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Durval Rossi in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Stjärnblomster's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Cerezo came free, but Philip Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Smefeldt in the 32nd minute of play forced Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Júlio Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fúria Futebol Clube's Luís Fabiano Cerezo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Kullgren in the 38th minute of play. Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Smefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Steffen Kullgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Patrik Smefeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 62nd minute, Steffen Kullgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Júlio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen Kullgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fúria Futebol Clube's Gil Tróia got a free kick in the 69th minute. Patrik Smefeldts short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Júlio Porto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Steffen Kullgren in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Júlio Porto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 85 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Cruz. Stjärnblomster's Tony Klint was substituted for Guto Alagoano. Sílvio Cruz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Cristian Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Stjärnblomster eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
