In the 11th minute, Manuel Dorrego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Steffen Kullgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steffen Kullgren got free with Agustin Irusta in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Philip Gallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tio Cosme FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Stefano Hengemühl hit a great ball. Tobias Björk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Agustin Irusta. Tio Cosme FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Philip Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Manuel Dorrego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrik Smefeldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agustin Irusta came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrik Smefeldt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Tio Cosme FC's Blas Aragones got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes, Stjärnblomster's Gilbert Lindmark shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Agustin Irusta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stjärnblomster reached it. After 46 played minutes Stjärnblomster got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Kullgren. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Epifanio Incendio made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Manuel Dorrego could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-2 into the left cross. Stjärnblomster's Philip Gallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Stjärnblomster from getting a goal against them. Tio Cosme FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Stjärnblomster's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celedonio Jerardo took the corner. Agustin Irusta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Smefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Stjärnblomster's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Jerardo came free, but Philip Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Gallin came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Tio Cosme FC's Epifanio Incendio. But to his dismay, Epifanio Incendio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Philip Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 81st minute, Ruben Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Tio Cosme FC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Incendio. Agustin Irusta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Kullgren in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Tio Cosme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Emenon to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes Stjärnblomster got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Smefeldt. Agustin Irusta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Kullgren in the 87th minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
