Brian Lambert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Brian Lambert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brian Lambert was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. A collision led to KFC Cromvelde getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Anacleto Maratea hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Lisburn Distillery F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Crouch to maneuver through the defense. When Tuur Gheysen came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the KFC Cromvelde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuur Gheysen couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Gunter Roeckeloes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billy Booth. If Clive Workman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damien Carr during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when Lisburn Distillery F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damien Carr didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt to make the kick off. Brian Lambert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. KFC Cromvelde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lisburn Distillery F.C. the free kick. Anacleto Maratea hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Quillian Cromefeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Cromvelde's supporters rose to their feet, but Quillian Cromefeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Lambert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blair Crittenden kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Quillian Cromefeldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brian Lambert. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quillian Cromefeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. KFC Cromvelde played a much better game than Lisburn Distillery F.C. and deserved their victory. The Lisburn Distillery F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
