The supporters of Victory F.C. booed when Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. 梅峰适 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Cornelius Risaa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victory F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's 蔡剑亮 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marvin Nagbøl, made in the 13th minute of the game. Ricard Ledoseray was a little too slow when 高帆克 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-1. When Rodion Cămătaru came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodion Cămătaru couldn't finish the play. Victory F.C.'s Cornelius Risaa got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Victory F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Esben Klemann. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victory F.C.'s goalkeeper Ricard Ledoseray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. 傅朋昆 hit a great ball. 吴悦宁 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haakon Bindsted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 吴悦宁 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelius Risaa in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Rodion Cămătaru made a precise shot to the right of Ricard Ledoseray. Victory F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodion Cămătaru was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Victory F.C.'s Haakon Bindsted got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 64th minute, 高帆克 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Cornelius Risaa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victory F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Kay Falslund kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 高帆克 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricard Ledoseray having to interfere. 吴悦宁 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haakon Bindsted in the 77th minute of play. Owe Eugen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 吴悦宁 came out and tried to block the shot, but Owe Eugen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 78th minute. Esben Klemann hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes of play, Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's Rodion Cămătaru made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricard Ledoseray was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victory F.C.'s goalkeeper Ricard Ledoseray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victory F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C to leave the ground with a draw.
