António Carmo came out of the goal and Ciriaco Gaizkine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, C. A. Potrero's Justo Dunixi got control of the ball when Telmo Seixas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Eureka's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Normando came free, but António Carmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Ciriaco Gaizkine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eureka's António Carmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciriaco Gaizkine's late challenge caught a Eureka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Gaizkine helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, C. A. Potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Gaizkine to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Normando did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised António Carmo 63 minutes into the match. Eureka's António Carmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Eureka from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Honorato Normando took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for António Carmo to make any attempt to save it. In the 72nd minute Honorato Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Carmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, C. A. The Eureka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that António Carmo should have stopped the shot.
