Emílio Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kong Lin Yu's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Kaspar Volmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlingur Haaland in the 15th minute of play. If Erlingur Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Emílio Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kong Lin Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Rymu got a corner. Guará FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tuncay Kutel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tuncay Kutel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guará FC's Emílio Motta did a great save. 22 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goalkeeper Emílio Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kong Lin Yu. Silver Särg in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emílio Motta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25thth minute of the game Kong Lin Yu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guará FC's Emílio Motta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rymu's Riho Edesi got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guará FC's zone, Silver Särg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Motta came out of the goal and Silver Särg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Emílio Motta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute Erlingur Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaspar Volmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silver Särg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Emílio Motta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Diamantino de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Guará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino de Lara couldn't finish the play. Emílio Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kong Lin Yu's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. If Silver Särg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emílio Motta made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Silver Särg sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Flavinho Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guará FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaspar Volmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The Rymu fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Rymu's Kong Lin Yu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 59th minute, Erlingur Haaland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaspar Volmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 63 minutes Rymu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erlingur Haaland who took care of the corner kick. In the 64th minute Kong Lin Yu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kong Lin Yu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rymu's Silver Särg got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Tuncay Kutel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guará FC's Emílio Motta didn't even have to move. In the 94th match minute, Rymu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riho Edesi to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
