Potrero's Severiano Lluterio got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro de Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Honorato Normando showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. The supporters of SC Bertioga booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Normando didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SC Bertioga getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Wilton Barral hit a great ball. Ciriaco Gaizkine succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 12th playminute. 18 minutes into the match, Honorato Normando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro de Mendonça, 3-0. If Honorato Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciriaco Gaizkine in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Gaizkine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro de Mendonça. SC Bertioga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Gaizkine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when SC Bertioga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Izotz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, SC Bertioga's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Normando came free, but Pedro de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Favoretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Honorato Normando notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of SC Bertioga's Pedro de Mendonça. Pedro de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the SC Bertioga defense, Ciriaco Gaizkine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro de Mendonça. The SC Bertioga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Normando in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Honorato Normando came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the C. A. Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Normando couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Normando in the 67th minute of play forced SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Pedro de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes, Ciriaco Gaizkine made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Bertioga's Pedro de Mendonça tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorato Normando struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Pedro de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Potrero. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Honorato Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Potrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Normando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Normando in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SC Bertioga's Conrado Varela got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ciriaco Gaizkine struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Pedro de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Potrero. C. A. Potrero made a substitution. Clemente Ezkerra replaced Honorato Normando. 89 minutes into the game, Clemente Ezkerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Pedro de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Clemente Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, SC Bertioga's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Ezkerra came free, but Pedro de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Ezkerra took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro de Mendonça. Pedro de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. When the referee ended the match the C. A. Potrero players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
