The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kaspar Volmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Gaizkine in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Rymu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuncay Kutel to maneuver through the defense. When Ciriaco Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the C. A. Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, C. A. Potrero's Justo Dunixi got control of the ball when Kong Lin Yu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Kong Lin Yu could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Justo Dunixi however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Justo Dunixi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Justo Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silver Särg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute of the match, Kong Lin Yu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Justo Dunixi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Justo Dunixi made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Silver Särg sent off a good shot on target. Santiago Izotz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaspar Volmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Kaspar Volmer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciriaco Gaizkine went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. C. A. Potrero's Justo Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kong Lin Yu in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, C. A. Potrero's Honorato Normando made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaspar Volmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Normando in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaspar Volmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Gaizkine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaspar Volmer. Rymu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Gaizkine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Gaizkine in the 38th minute of play forced Rymu's goalkeeper Kaspar Volmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Rymu's Tuncay Kutel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 45th minute, Hillar Uibomäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Rymu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C. A. Potrero were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorato Normando made a kick off. C. A. Potrero's Honorato Normando managed to work through Rymu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Honorato Normando dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Kaspar Volmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Normando in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Celedonio Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Silver Särg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justo Dunixi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Justo Dunixi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Riho Edesi made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C. A. Potrero's Gregorio Benat. Kaspar Volmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Normando in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rymu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santiago Izotz was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. Potrero's players had a chance to rest. A sloppy throw-in by Martti Roosna in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C. A. Potrero's Camilo Tabor. Justo Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kong Lin Yu in the 85th minute of play. Ciriaco Gaizkine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Kaspar Volmer made a huge save. Rymu were furious when Jiang Liang Ling was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. C. A. Potrero's Clemente Ezkerra was substituted for Honorato Normando. 88 minutes into the game, one of Rymu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kaspar Volmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Ezkerra's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. C. A. Potrero's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
