Elano Recife who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Waldemar Paraibano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elano Recife's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Waldemar Paraibano firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Geraerts during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes AFC Irocha got a freekick which was hit by David Geraerts. Romeu Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matty Steckens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When AFC Irocha's Garikoitz Torres in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beltrao F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Waldemar Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson de Sousa in the 39th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes AFC Irocha got a freekick which was hit by Matty Steckens. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garikoitz Torres in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeu Torres saved Beltrao F.C from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garikoitz Torres was the one to do the kick off. Garikoitz Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeu Torres having to make a save. Michael Jaddon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Romeu Torres made a huge save. Elano Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Waldemar Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Beltrao F.C's Gilson Motta got a free kick in the 60th minute. Romeu Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garikoitz Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Romeu Torres made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Garikoitz Torres sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th match minute, AFC Irocha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garikoitz Torres to maneuver through the defense. David Geraerts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romeu Torres came out and tried to block the shot, but David Geraerts slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 69th minute. Matty Steckens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Torres having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Garikoitz Torres took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Romeu Torres to make any attempt to save it. 89 minutes into the match, Beltrao F.C's goalkeeper Romeu Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matty Steckens. AFC Irocha's Matty Steckens got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Matty Steckens off the ground. A collision led to AFC Irocha getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Matty Steckens hit a great ball. Beltrao F.C's Elano Recife got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
