Templários MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zula Marciewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Templários MZC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Felipe Meira hit a great ball. Jonathan Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 0-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Zeledon Bermund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Igor Gipuzkoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zula Marciewicz. 32 minutes into the game, Zula Marciewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Igor Gipuzkoa. Zula Marciewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Zeledon Bermund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Laze Gjoka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Bermund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Zula Marciewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Zeledon Bermund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laze Gjoka. Templários MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Bermund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Atlético Matorrales booed when Templários MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Ventura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Igor Gipuzkoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 65 minutes Atlético Matorrales's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antônio Carlos Fernandes who took care of the corner kick. Antônio Carlos Fernandes made a great header on Templários MZC's corner, it was just that Atlético Matorrales's Igor Gipuzkoa managed to reach the ball for a save. 67 minutes into the match, Roger Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Gipuzkoa. Atlético Matorrales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Igor Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Zula Marciewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Gipuzkoa having to make a save. 79 minutes into the game, Noel Furlan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Igor Gipuzkoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Marciewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Atlético Matorrales defense, Noel Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Gipuzkoa. The Atlético Matorrales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Gipuzkoa should have stopped the shot. Noel Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Gipuzkoa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atlético Matorrales's Aureliano Honrio got a free kick in the 96th minute. Noel Furlan scored 5-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Gipuzkoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Templários MZC were the better team. Templários MZC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
