After 24 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Espen Heltne. 25 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Harasimowicz came free, but Finn Eidsvåg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Finn Eidsvåg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Mechkarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Klement Harasimowicz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Finn Eidsvåg. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
