Julius van Zijl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Baiano in the 3rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mota 2017's Julius van Zijl threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Célio Baiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Célio Baiano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Julius van Zijl 5 minutes into the match. After 9 minutes, Jan Rein Helwig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bal op het Dak and the Mota 2017 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Jan Rein Helwig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Célio Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Julius van Zijl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Célio Baiano in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julius van Zijl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonçalo Guimarães came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bal op het Dak's Hans van der Leegte. But to his dismay, Hans van der Leegte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Sílvio Bueno hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaas Jan Lammers in the 33rd minute of play forced Mota 2017's goalkeeper Gonçalo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julius van Zijl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Baiano in the 35th minute of play. Julius van Zijl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio Baiano in the 39th minute. Gonçalo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martien Degenkamp in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Célio Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius van Zijl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mota 2017 booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Rein Helwig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans van der Leegte hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Martien Degenkamp made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mota 2017's Célio Baiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julius van Zijl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mota 2017's goalkeeper Gonçalo Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mota 2017's goalie prevented a goal. If Célio Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Calisto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Klaas Jan Lammers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonçalo Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Baiano in the 96th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Julius van Zijl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mota 2017 fully deserved thier win.
