Desfachatados F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bal op het Dak the free kick. After a rather tough play, Desfachatados F.C.'s Fabio Acosta got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hans van der Leegte hit a great ball. Modesto Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martien Degenkamp in the 15th minute of play. FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Desfachatados F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cees Engelaar took the corner. With a little luck, FC Bal op het Dak's Julius van Zijl got control of the ball when Skæringur Skaadegaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Desfachatados F.C.'s Fabio Acosta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julius van Zijl. Julius van Zijl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When David Luzaide fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desfachatados F.C.'s protests and gave David Luzaide a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Desfachatados F.C. got a freekick which was hit by David Luzaide. In the 38th minute Martien Degenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Bingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martien Degenkamp in the 38th minute of play forced Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Modesto Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martien Degenkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Bingen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Desfachatados F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bruno Berart hit a great ball. Skæringur Skaadegaard kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Skæringur Skaadegaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The FC Bal op het Dak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julius van Zijl should have stopped the shot. Julius van Zijl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Skæringur Skaadegaard went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
