But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Kaminski couldn't finish the play. Ludomir Jarocewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladyslaw Czermak in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wladyslaw Czermak was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of FC Lupus booed when Vilma Palma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Porfirio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, FC Lupus's goal looked a bit too open when Luo Zhen Chang came free, but Waldemar Naskrent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Lupus fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when FC Lupus's Wladyslaw Czermak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 97th minute, David Porfirio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernard Pliszka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Lupus eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
