In the 35th minute Ernest Comănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 潘庭桑 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 潘庭桑 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Mihu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Inácio Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Constantin Mihu sped through 【天下】☆长空☆黄河之水天上来's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 潘庭桑.
