Claus Caßemayer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Mădălin Apostu made a huge save. After having played for 7 minutes, Constantin Mihu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus PTM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Mihu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niklaus Petak hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Ernest Comănescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PoznanGalaxy's Volker Timmermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Comănescu in the 13th minute of play. Mădălin Apostu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Fritz Fograscher sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Fritz Fograscher notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Juventus PTM's Mădălin Apostu. Mădălin Apostu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 23 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Comănescu. Constantin Mihu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Timmermann having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, PoznanGalaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Comănescu came free, but Volker Timmermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juventus PTM were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after PoznanGalaxy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucius Gabor took the corner. Juventus PTM's Lucius Gabor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Volker Timmermann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ernest Comănescu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Volker Timmermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Comănescu in the 33rd minute of the match. Robert Kalweit hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Luis Piepenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PoznanGalaxy booed when Juventus PTM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Comănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Ernest Comănescu got a free kick in the 40th minute. Constantin Mihu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Volker Timmermann having to make a save. Mădălin Apostu made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Fritz Fograscher sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fritz Fograscher was the one to do the kick off. Mădălin Apostu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Piepenburg in the 52nd minute of the match. Constantin Mihu scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Volker Timmermann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Volker Timmermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Mihu in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, PoznanGalaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Mihu came free, but Volker Timmermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Constantin Mihu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Volker Timmermann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 73rd minute Juventus PTM were awarded a corner. Lucius Gabor went to the cornerflag to take it. After 73 played minutes PoznanGalaxy got a freekick which was hit by Luis Piepenburg. Volker Timmermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucius Gabor in the 74th minute of play. Constantin Mihu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Volker Timmermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Ernest Comănescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Volker Timmermann however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when PoznanGalaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vahid Kaas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Volker Timmermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Mihu in the 80th minute of the match. Constantin Mihu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Volker Timmermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Volker Timmermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Mihu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantin Mihu took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Volker Timmermann. Volker Timmermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of PoznanGalaxy booed when Juventus PTM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Muncelean didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ernest Comănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus PTM's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Comănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volker Timmermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juventus PTM's Ernest Comănescu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 95 minutes in the game, fortunately Volker Timmermann had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Juventus PTM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
