In the 6th match minute, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baraxil Casillas to maneuver through the defense. Rosendo Seguinus made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ildefonso Ucero sent off a good shot on target. Ildefonso Ucero had several of the ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rosendo Seguinus as he didn't even see the shot coming. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Alacuart in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Vermeşan came free, but Sarracino Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Eugen Lupea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sarracino Lastras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Escobar in the 30th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Julio Alacuart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baraxil Casillas kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Eugen Lupea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarracino Lastras having to interfere. In the 36th minute Remus Vermeşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarracino Lastras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Lupea scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sarracino Lastras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sandu Gheorghiu hit a great ball. After some careless play in the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO defense, Sandu Gheorghiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sarracino Lastras. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sarracino Lastras should have stopped the shot. After the first half ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ildefonso Ucero made the kick off in the second half. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Sandu Gheorghiu got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Huștiu in the 55th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Sarracino Lastras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Ucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Remus Vermeşan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sarracino Lastras having to make a save. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Ildefonso Ucero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baudilio Andres was substituted for Ildefonso Ucero. In the 79th minute, Sandu Gheorghiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sarracino Lastras. The goal made the score 2-4. In the 84th minute Victor Huștiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarracino Lastras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baudilio Andres in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 89 minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rey Northe who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rey Northe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rosendo Seguinus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
