In the 3rd match minute, FC Zarzyk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Chlebek to maneuver through the defense. Ulysses Britto made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Zbyszek Gregorczyk sent off a good shot on target. In the 13thth minute of the game Cristóvão Fantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Zarzyk's Radomil Smolarek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fábio Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Limeirinha FC's Ulysses Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Gregorczyk in the 19th minute of play. If Cristóvão Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adalberto Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Radomil Smolarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, FC Zarzyk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Chlebek to maneuver through the defense. Wlodzimierz Chlebek charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wlodzimierz Chlebek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wlodzimierz Chlebek kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Radomil Smolarek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adalberto Marinho's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Adalberto Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Zarzyk's Radomil Smolarek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cleiton Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Zarzyk's Damazy Chwalkiewicz got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cleiton Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Smolarek having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Adalberto Marinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Radomil Smolarek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The FC Zarzyk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Limeirinha FC were winning 0-1.

Cristóvão Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radomil Smolarek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Adalberto Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Smolarek having to interfere. Radomil Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Marinho in the 66th minute of play. Cleiton Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Eugeniusz Kasperowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto Marinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Radomil Smolarek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ulysses Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Gregorczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomil Smolarek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóvão Fantini in the 88th minute. Cleiton Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Smolarek having to interfere. Juarês Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The Limeirinha FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Limeirinha FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
