In the 2nd minute Baltazar Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Wischnowsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hartwig Engelhardt had several of the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jeremias de Azevedo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Julian Froylan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jeremias de Azevedo made a huge save. In the 12th minute Hílton Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Wischnowsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Wischnowsky came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Hílton Tande. But to his dismay, Hílton Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jeremias de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Wischnowsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Freire in the 23rd minute of the match. Gabriel Wischnowsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Tande in the 28th minute of play. Baltazar Freire took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Wischnowsky. Gabriel Wischnowsky dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Simon Brechbilder hit a great ball. Ademir Vander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gabriel Wischnowsky. KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremias de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Hartwig Engelhardt sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Ray Schikaneder got a free kick in the 40th minute. Baltazar Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gabriel Wischnowsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Edin Džeko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Uerdingen 05 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Duarte Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Patrick Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Uerdingen 05 the free kick. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Patrick Cerezo hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Aníbal Lira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aníbal Lira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aníbal Lira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aníbal Lira hit a great ball. Jeremias de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Schikaneder in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Ademir Vander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Jeremias de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hartwig Engelhardt went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. KFC Uerdingen 05's Gabriel Wischnowsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Uerdingen 05 from getting a goal against them. After 72 minutes, Duarte Nogueira made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. KFC Uerdingen 05's Gabriel Wischnowsky tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baltazar Freire charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Freire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 81 minutes into the match, Hartwig Engelhardt notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Jeremias de Azevedo. Jeremias de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremias de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 88 minutes KFC Uerdingen 05's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ademir Vander who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hartwig Engelhardt in the 90th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Jeremias de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Uerdingen 05's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
