In the 29th minute of the match Lonzo Corullon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krzysztof Nowakowski skillfully saved the ball. Artizar Melic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Gacek in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Benvide Cercalde notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Krzysztof Nowakowski. Krzysztof Nowakowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krzysztof Nowakowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Pierres Baz came free, but Krzysztof Nowakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Corcoran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Jorge Vicente Kutaisov got a free kick in the 51st minute. Krzysztof Nowakowski was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Pierres Baz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pierres Baz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Krzysztof Nowakowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gianluca Popolizio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krzysztof Nowakowski was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Popolizio in the 91st minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Krzysztof Nowakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lonzo Corullon kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
