The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Daniel Cabrera notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of STORM's Varlam Baburin. Varlam Baburin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. TZILACATZIN's attentive Fabio Rencio managed to snatch the ball when Matvey Mikhailov made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Aleksandr Schukin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 22nd minute Daniel Cabrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Varlam Baburin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. STORM's Varlam Baburin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Nikolay Kosunov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edinho Lira, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitaliy Koirovich got free with Edinho Lira in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as STORM's Vitaliy Koirovich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edinho Lira. That made the score 2-1 after 31 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, STORM's Edinho Lira threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nikolay Kosunov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Yaroslav Komarov fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STORM's protests and gave Yaroslav Komarov a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for STORM! The supporters of TZILACATZIN booed when STORM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksim Khomukha didn't get a good kick on the ball. STORM made a substitution. Nikolay Ananichev replaced Valentin Vorobiev. In the 46th minute, Maksim Khomukha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes, Homero Thomson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TZILACATZIN and the STORM players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Homero Thomson. TZILACATZIN made a substitution. Salvadore González replaced Homero Thomson. Homero Thomson kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikolay Kosunov to strike the kick off in the second half. STORM's Varlam Baburin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 54th minute of play. Daniel Cabrera scored 2-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Varlam Baburin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Distiratsu. Daniel Cabrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Varlam Baburin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes STORM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victoriano Distiratsu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Victoriano Distiratsu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but STORM's Varlam Baburin did a great save. Varlam Baburin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvadore González in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Leonid Alferov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Daniel Cabrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Varlam Baburin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Koirovich in the 74th minute of play forced TZILACATZIN's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvadore González's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Varlam Baburin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolay Kosunov in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Nikolay Kosunov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvadore González in the 82nd minute of play forced STORM's goalkeeper Varlam Baburin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, STORM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matvey Mikhailov to maneuver through the defense. Varlam Baburin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvadore González in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the game, Matvey Mikhailov threw the ball into play from the sideline. TZILACATZIN's Fabio Rencio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to STORM getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vitaliy Koirovich hit a great ball. The TZILACATZIN players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
