Classe A Futebol Clube's Lauro Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Aznaro in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Classe A Futebol Clube booed when CACYFA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Aznaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Alfredo Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CACYFA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Saturnin should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Favoretto to strike the kick off in the second half. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Classe A Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
