Edgard Estevez hit a great ball. Paulo Lorencio came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gürsel Durusoy could save by the left post. 18 minutes into the game, Primitivo Ciano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gürsel Durusoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Walme in the 22nd minute of play forced BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goalkeeper Gürsel Durusoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Cardiff City FC's Paulo Lorencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gürsel Durusoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Gürsel Durusoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Ciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gürsel Durusoy made a huge save. Gürsel Durusoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Orlondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Primitivo Ciano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gürsel Durusoy. That made the score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Primitivo Ciano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Gürsel Durusoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bogdan Bambas took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Leobardo. Vladimiro Leobardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Vladimiro Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Servet Bakırcıoğlu in the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Primitivo Ciano made the kick off in the second half. Gürsel Durusoy came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardiff City FC's Celso Walme. But to his dismay, Celso Walme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Benedicto Orlondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürsel Durusoy having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Gary Medel got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to Cardiff City FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lázaro Efraim hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Primitivo Ciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gürsel Durusoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Arif Tugay Demiray hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Gürsel Durusoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Lorencio in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Servet Bakırcıoğlu got free with Vladimiro Leobardo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 minutes, Liu Ting Chao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 and the Cardiff City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Liu Ting Chao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gary Medel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Gürsel Durusoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Gürsel Durusoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Ciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute of the match Paulo Lorencio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürsel Durusoy skillfully saved the ball.
